I was talking to a BCM50 customer who said he was told by the sales engineer who sold the system that the BCM50 has a feature whereby if you're on call#1 and call#2 comes in, that you can have the second caller listen to a special message that tells the second caller to hold on and not leave a message but as soon as the person is done with caller#1 he will get the person live.
After hearing this, the only thing I could do is say that I've never heard of this feature but I would do some research and get back to him.
Well I've done my reading and I still can't find any reference to it.
Anybody have any ideas as to what he may be talking about? The only thing I found that was close was call screening but, it really doesn't fit his scenario.

You could do that if you enabled call center on the system. I've never heard of that feature when Call Center isn't enabled though. I'd be curious as to what he might have been referring to.

we have achieved this by using the AA, CCR tree and a hunt group. You then loop the call back to the Voicemail on the hunt group. The system announcment played to the caller is the system message. You can not change the message it is just a default message telling the caller that extension is busy please hold and loops back again.

mrmarshall, your reply is very interesting. Could you provide more details on this setup. I may use that in the future. Thanks
