Anytime I try to save anything with text in it, "unknown error" shows up. I've tried everything I can think of- deleting pref files, taking out all fonts except original windows, uninstalling and reinstalling, but to no avail. I looked on the Adobe forum and others had the problem, but no one had a fix. It's driving me crazy, help!!

unknown error when trying to save text in cs2

I can't recreate the problem so I'm not sure what causes it. What you could try to do is convert the text to outline and then save it. The downside is that you won't be able to edit it later if needed.
