Hi, first time posting, looked like a good place to start...
Having just uninstalled some unwanted programs (nothing particularly interesting) using the 'official' Control Panel' method, I restarted this morning to see 'New Hardware detected'!!!
Windows couldn't identify it, nor find drivers. Now I have a big yellow question mark next to 'Other Devices' in Device Manager, with has 'Unknown Device' also questioned as a sub-category.
How do I find out what I've lost, or what drivers are missing? The machine seems to run fine, but I'm worried that I've done something fatal to it? How do I know which device it's refering to?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
(Win98SE, PII, 400Mhz, 192RAM, IBM ThinkPad 390x)
Cheers,
Conor (Bemused)
