I got this error when refreshing a report in Crystal Reports 2008. At first, it works but I don't understand why it will stop working later. What could be the problem?

Hi,
More info please:

What database?
What connection method?
What is the exact error?

Hi, thanks for your reponse.

The exact error is this : 'Unknown Database Connector Error'

Connection is using ODBC.

The database is Oracle 10g.

Hi,
try setting a Oracle Server connection instead of ODBC - far fewer problems and easier to get meaningful error messages if it does not work.

How to use Oracle Server connection? Can you give me some steps?

Hi,
On an existing report, go to the 'set Database' option and choose the Oracle Server option when given the list of database connections ( it should be there, as long as your workstation has an Oracle client - and it needs one to even use ODBC ( usually)
- Provide the info needed ( username/password/instance )

On a new report just choose the Oracle Server option when starting.
