Unknown admin mailbox?

Partner messaging rel 3. A previous administrator changed the Admin port 9997 to an unknown mailbox. What would be the procedure be for resetting it keeping in mind that I don't know the admin mailbox number.My plan was to log into every mailbox using the system serial number for the password.

My mistake. Partner Mail release 3 (not VS mail)

It's been awhile, but from what I remember, you can use the serial cable from your serial port on you pc and use a null modem cable ro connect directly to the comm 1 port on the partner mail. If you need the passcode either search the forum, it's there all over the place or e-mail me and I will give it to ya. And from there, you can do a system config report and even reset the system admin password, again, it's been awhile, I know you can defintally do the report. my e-mail is beholdthejinxs--at--rcn--dot--com.

Just for laughs, try mailbox 10, or the previous administrators mailbox. Failing that, a report as jinxs suggested.
