unixware 7.1 problem, cant mout a floppy

I'm trying to install a package for a nic card. I have transfered the .pkg file to the floppy using a linux machine. When I try to install the package in unixware
pkgadd -d /dev/rdsk/f0t/bcme-2.2.1.pkg i get an error saying device /dev/rdsk/f0t is not listed in the device table.

I've tried to mount the floppy numerous times with no success. mount /dev/rdsk/ft0 /mnt/floppy and i get an 'invalid fs type' error.

any suggestions???

I also tried to run the package using the software installer and i get a similar error.
