UNIX VS WINDOWS BASED TRANSFORMER

Does anyone have a feel for proformace of these two plateforms running cognos transformer. I'm running on windows base machine with qual processers and 8 GB of ram.

If I go to a unix box would things run any fast is they were the same 4 cpu and 8 gb of ram?

I suspect from studying your post that you'll be better off in Windows.
