I am looking for a program that will connect to a Unix box from NT2000 or NT4, connect to a spacific folder, and download that folder to the nt box based on date.

Help would be grealy appreciated.

Thanks.

Have you tried SAMBA? You can use this to share the UNIX folder on NT.

Very much thanks for your reply. Can you give me more detail or point me where I could find it?

I am using two applications at the moment to capture my reports from a spacific folder. This is cumbersom and most of the time fails on the Ftp portion.

I need a software that I can run it either unix or NT but to be able to create a folder based on the current date, and dump all the files in that spacific folder. Also to be able to run this at the spacific time. Has to be after my night audit.

If you could point me where I could research this, I would grealy apprecite your help.

Thanks again.

Can this version of samba be installed on HP Unix?
Is there a version of samba for HP and SCO?

Thank you.

You can get the source, from samba.org, if you want to compile it, and i beliveve it works for both HP and SCO ...

there may be binaries around if you look.
