Howdy!
I have two unix boxes (SCO OpenServer 5.0.6).
Given server LIVE with IP 192.168.0.5 and BACKUP with
IP 192.168.0.8 and lots of files in LIVE server ...
What would be the best method to keep BACKUP server in
synch with LIVE server?
I wrote a simple shell script to scan for and archive
any file changed in last 24 hours. I can take this
archive and ftp from LIVE to BACKUP and then have
another script in BACKUP restore archive ....
There's got to be a better way! I feel as though I have
too many steps and the ideal of BACKUP been behind by 24
hours kind of troubles me.
Please advise of a solution to my situation keeping in
mind that beyond described problem, budget of nay kind
is NOT available :-( ...
Thank you all for your time!
