Hi everyone, I'm in a process of replacing few HP 4250n printers. They all run under Unix environment. I'm just wondering what HP out there that will work. I'm not too familiar with UNIX, since I'm MS person, their UNIX person is on leave for awhile and I took the liberty to take over the printer replacment project.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance..

It might be helpful to know what version of Unix and what special printer functions you might need implemented.

On the earlier unix versions I support the HP printers are set as HPlaserjet dumping data that the printer can use as a HPIIP. That has covered everything from HP to Brother to Kyocera.
