I have my script built, and it is working fine. Although I am trying to test getting a mail message outside the domain. I can mailx beaster@domain.com (Our Company email) but cannot get a message anywhere else.

I will be sending a 10 character alert to my GSM phone if a cell sites drops off the air. When I ping the company domain, it shows lotus_smtp_company is alive. I was sure that somewhere I heard that as long as I could get it to a gateway, I could get it through. I have tried sendmail, but I am not having any luck. I am on a Sun Enterprise 4500 and a bunch of Ultra 10's.

Where can I look to see what domains are listed as know or trusted domains. my brain is fried from writing the script and I need help. I know Unix somewhat, but not too much about the system stuff. But you guys have always been great!

Thanks,
Beaster
