Currently experiencing problems were our Unix password file is becoming corrupt, the issue appears to be that the P.D.C on our network is an NT Server, and somehow the Unix password file is pulling in NT account info. when this happens users are unable to log in to Unix and can not change passwords on Unix. Running an authck -avy, but this stalls on the first corrupt NT login. Any one experienced this before? any ideas!!!

How is that possible ? "Unix password file is pulling in NT account info"

Are you running samba or vision FS ?

More information is required to solve your problem
