We have a problem as we are replacing our old Windows MQ server with a shiny new one. The client app remains the same on a Solaris platform. We thought it would be as simple as copying all the configs over and away we go, but we are getting an error of "2035 MQRC NOT AUTHORIZED".
It seems that all messages from the Solaris client appear from the root user, and that on the old Windows server we had a local user called root created and authorised to the queue.
Our Windows server admins don't want to create a user on the new server if possible, so my question is this: Is there any way for us to get the messages from the Solaris client authorised on the Windows MQ Server without having to create an extra local user on the server?
Thanks in advance to all you highly knowledgable people, assiting simpletons like myself ;-)
