UNIX machines with TAR and Backup exec are they compatible

I am running a DLT on an NT platform. I was sent some info on a DLT, but it was created and saved on a unix machine using the TAR program. Can I use backup exec on my NT machine to retrieve files that were saved using TAR on a unix machine? [sig][/sig]

Sorry no. BE does not have a TAR reader built-in yet.
These guys had some utilities that Ive seen before.
