Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie with ITM and we are planning our migration from DM v3.7 to ITM v5.x. We've noticed an event log adapter in ITM built-in resource models for Windows and I'm wondering if a similar logfile adapter exist for Unix. We'd like to replace our ACP profiles with ITM at the same time we do the migration. I've looked in the resource models reference guide and didn't find anything about that in the book. If IBM does not provide a Unix logfile adapter with ITM, does anyone created one and is willing to share it with us? :)

Thanks

hi, I wouldn't use itm for logfile parsing. ACP is much more powerfull and using the latest version very scalable and easy to configure. ITM is not beeing further developed (IBM bought Candle) which will replace the old ITM monitoring during the next couple of years.
