i now use regular .Z unix aix compression,
is there a "gund" compression?,
i get data with a .gz extension.

You can get gzip from a few public domain sites :
gzip (UCLA AIX Public Domain Software Library)
IBM maintenance level fixes now uses gz or gzip...format..

At the UCLA site, choose either the "categories" or "ftp" link near the bottom of the page.

IBM has a link to it....

I imagine it is on the Bull site as well.

Good Luck
