I have a UNIX server on my intranet and a MS Proxy server 2.0 with a leased line. I need to internet users can connect to Unix server in a especific ports (9000 & 5016).

Do i need a Proxy client for Unix and its exists?

I really appreeciate any kind of help or ideas.

i take it you have the winPC on the outside, and can't change it so that the windows PC is inside and the UNIX box has the firewall/proxy server on it.

I also assume that you want people to be able to access the unix box from the net on certain ports, i.e. 5016 & 9000.

you need to set up some kind of 'accelerator's on the winPC, that just talk to and from the specific ports on the unix box, and allows the same ports to be accessed as if on the winPC.

I have no unix server (one inside and one outside), that have a application talking in the ports 5016 & 9000. The proxy/firewall are a Windows PC with Proxy Server 2.0.

Any way i find a solution. have a utility called RelayTCP. This utility allow create a port in the proxy as mirror of the port outside.

In this way, the communications between unix servers is transparent, and the firewall protect the port cheking the TCP packets from the external server.

Thanks for your interest.
