We are on a unix/apache "virtual" web server configuration. We only have one user on the server which is our domain name, rdgrp. Mail to rdgrp is split up here in the office by our apple network to the various users. Can anyone tell me why I would not be able to send mail from our web server to a user at our domain using the unix mail program?
(such as rstewart@rdgrp.com)
I can send mail to and from that address with an e-mail client, here at work or from home (it is a valid address in other words). But when I try this in telnet:
-> virtual mail rstewart@rdgrp.com
it does not go through. I can send mail in this fashion to any other address besides one on our domain.
Example:
->virtual mail zob95@yahoo.com works fine
any help is massively appreciated
