I'am having to following problem.
Due to several projects we have seperate networks (internal) between people using production Windows NT servers and people working on those projects using Windows NT servers and Compaq TRU 64 Unix machines. Management as decided that these networks should be seperated with a firewall (Freesco).
The problem that i'am up against is that out tape library (Tl891) is situated at the production network. On a production Windows NT server (arcserve 2000) i'am now trying to reach a Unix agent (for Compaq Tru 64 version 6.61) on the project network.
The strange thing is that i'am able to browse from the NT server the Unix machine but when i'am trying to make a backup the agent goes to a sleep state and wakes up, goes to a sleep state, wakes up, and so on. In the logfile on the Unix machine it seems the agent is getting the right information from the NT server but no data reaches the NT server.
I have tried to open the firewall by letting all tcp/ip ports and ip addresse through the firewall but still get no result.
Is there anyone who recognises this kind of problems ???
Regards Rob
