I built a filter that combines a location description with a warehouse. When I view this in WEBI or Crystal Reports, the list is in no particular order. How do I get these to sort in alphabetical order and show that way when the user goes to use the filter?

BO XI and CR XI

Example:

Zansafars Warehouse - Dock 1
Angelines Warehouse - Parking lot
Mickey D's Warehouse - Dock 2

Should be:

Angelines Warehouse - Parking lot
Mickey D's Warehouse - Dock 2
Zansafars Warehouse - Dock 1

Thanks!

Use the Report->Sort Expert and select your field as the sortation.

If the field is of a type that doesn't allow for sorting, then create a SQL Expression and CAST/CONVERT and truncate to the first 100 charaters or so to allow for proper sorting.

Of course this depends on the database being used, which you should also always include with posts.

Thanks synapsevampire, I did figure out how to put a sort on the object in Universe! Thanks!

Ahh, sorry, I overlookd the Universe part :)

I try to avoid using Universes or anything proprietary.
