Good afternoon guys,

I have to complete a I understand two-step task of installation new PRi card in Option 11C box which unfortunately need to have one of the Universal trunk card relocated.

I wanted to run it through you first to makes sure I don't screw it up. (lol)
I have to move listed below UTC first from slot3 on cabinet 0 and to cabinet 4 starting at L 34-0-0-0

First question I have is - could I use LD 25 for this move? If not - what do you guys recommend to be done in step 1?

Here is the Universal Card I have to move.

Wiring is next and can be done quick. I just worry about the DB in this case.

Thanks for your hints on this partly documented process.

Yes you could use the mov command to move them 1 at a time.

Hi Acewarlock,

Thanks for your help on this move,

Do i have to remove the card first and than move the TNs or the otherwise?

Thanks again

CKD

It would probally be easier to mov the card first, but it could be done either way.

the mov card command has never been that reliable.. the physical side can be pre or post software.. i would disc the card before i start either way.. after the last port is moved, the light has been known to stay dark and you can't disable a card that stats unequipted.. if you do the mov to command before you seat the card, it's easy to forget to disable the slot before you insert the card.. empty slot but disable it anyway.. not much of a chance for card damage, but why take any risk
