Having an issue with something very basic, I apologize in advance but I couldn't find it answered to my satisfaction by searching.

During Day mode, DID points the reception indial to a virtual extension which rings several staff.

During night mode however, I have it pointed at 1708 which is reception extension + direct dial voicemail (As far as I am aware).

At the moment staff are setting night mode and forwarding their handset to voicemail, using inskin function key.

Am I missing something? How do I send the DID table to voicemail?

Help appreciated.

In MB 22-10, the second area tables are used for night mode. EX: 22-10 first area 1 to 100 = day mode destination, second area 101-200 = night mode destination. In MB 22-11, set your night mode destination in table 101. EX: 101, inc # xxxyy target number 399 (vm pilot), or, no destination specified, and first target to 102 (VM).

Thanks so much belvedere.

For option one is 170399 a valid code? I don't completely understand your use of xxxyy. I apologise for my ignorance.

In regards to the second option, I have an extension assigned to 102. Is there a way to discover where the VM number may have ended up.

I appreciate your assistance.

xxyy represents the digits pulsed in by telco.
170399 looks like extension 170 and voice mail pilot 399. It is not correct for routing to extension 170 through voice mail. It should be 399@170.
Extension 102 and routing destination 102 in the DID tables represent two different things. 102 is a defaulted number in the system that represents the department group for voice mail. You can use 102 as an extension and 102 as a VM routing option. It depends on where and how you program it.
In 22-11, DID routing tables, if you put 102 in the target destination then it's the extension. If you leave it blank and put 102 in the transfer target number then it represents the department group for voice mail.
