Is there a way to turn off the option to send an email when you receive voicemail?

Jacob

It sounds like Message Notification is turned on. Open the mailbox profile and under Message Notification, pull up the Text Pager notification profiles. Make sure each one is disabled and that should stop the messages. If your users have access to Cisco PCA, they can do this themselves as well.

What is your set up? Unified or vm only?
If VM only are u doing IMAP?

Unified

I just have 1 site that is pop to exchange so when they get a voice mail it only goes to their email. I think the problem is fixed now by doing what Hmmg3 said.

We run Unity Unified with exchange. We had to create what we refer to as Unity Resourse AD accounts separate from the user's account.

Kind Regards,

hey guys, Im trying to do exactly the opposite. we have a unity box solely for voicemail. I want to set it up so that my users in my production domain get an email when a voicemail is left on there phone. I have read that you need to set up an smtp gateway but really cant find much on the topic.

I would appreciate any help.

thanks..

one more thing...not using imap..i want to use the text message message notification to send the notification to an email address.

thanks
