Good afternoon. How can I run usage reports on the Unity? I need to know who's using there v-mail and who's not.
Thank you!

Does anyone run reports on their Unity? I've always ran reports on all the legacy v-mail systems and fine them very helpful. You can find boxes that are not/haven't been used. You can find "holes" in the system where messages are left but never retrieved, possible hacker use and you can free up allot of disc space.

dont know if this helps or not. I log into Unity Connections Serviceability, select Tools, Servicieability Reports.
There is a report called Unused voice mail accounts & User Message Activity Reports.

Thanks Big Chief Dan. I can't fine where to log into Unity Connections Serviceability. Is that accessable from the regular Unity v-mail administration?
Thanks

it may be version specific? but I have a pull down selection in the upper right hand side. default is "Cisco Unity Connection Administration".
Try this:
In a web browser go to the following url:
" ADDRESS>:8443/cuservice"
Where <IP ADDRESS> is the address of unity.
This is the url that appears when I select connection serviceability.

Thanks Dan. I couldn't find what you suggested but on our Unity administration program there's a reports section and offers some report options. I can figure out how to run the report but when its done it says "report sucessfully queued". I can't find where it's queued. Any ideas?
Thanks again.

Sounds like you have regular Unity and not Unity Connection. The reports are saved to the C:\CommServer\Reports folder of the actual server (assuming the commserver folder is on the C: drive).

You can also view port utilization reports directly on the server. Just load up Tools Depot (should be a shortcut on the desktop) and go into the reporting section.
