Experiencing 2-4 second delay in speech when coming from a Cisco Unity mail menu out to a Nortel phone on an SL-100 using Linside T1's to Cisco TIMG's...Any idea's

lineside does not give you many options.. set up entc to determine which leg is causing the delay.. you connect but no speechpath..ie you miss 4 seconds of the greeting..or you wait 4 seconds but hear the complete greeting..

ifyou hear the complete, check your newtworking by dialing the access #, that will bypass the idt and eod timers.. if that helps the dialed from unit needs to be set up to know that the dial pattern is complete after x number of digits..

example: using dsc's but not defining xpln as 4, after 4 digits the box waits for interdigit then end of dial timers then sends the digits.. if xlpn is 4 then ringback happens in .01 seconds.. typical pri net timing

Thanks but its when a caller is in the Unity mail and depresses a number that dials out to a phone on the SL100. When the called party answers the phone the caller does not hear the first few spoken words. The delay seems to definetly be on the speech cut thru from the UNITY but where ????
