I've got a Nortel Option 81c that uses Cisco Unity for voice mail. Unity is connected via 4 T1 Pri's. It appears that every 4-6 weeks mailboxes won't anwser your call, you get the generic Unity greeting instead of your personalized greeting. Every time this occurs I turn on the d-channel monitors I don't see faility messages being sent. something then happens in the PBX where these messages are not being passed therefore causing issues. I have ini the switch in order to get it to work.

Does anyone have any Idea why these facility messages stop?

I would say since the messages are being sent from the Nortel you have a better chance for an answer on the Nortel forum. Sounds like some kind of qsig bug on the nortel side. How are you connecting the PRI's to unity? A cisco router? Make sure you are current on the IOS code on that.
What version Unity?
