Unity Connection

Does anybody have installed a Cisco Unity Connection on a generic Hardware. I already have one Unity Connection 1.1 server, but in a Cisco Hardware (IBM x206) and I want to install it on a PC (even in a Virtual Machine, like the callmanager) but I receive a message that the hardware its not a Cisco Hardware :p.

So I ask for help or a hint because I want to have a "backup".
