Hello all,

My unity voicemails are being timestamped one hour in the future. However the time is correct on the server. "automatically adjust for DST" is unchecked in the time zone configuration.

i found this doc on cisco.

my pub and sub both have the OS and the app patched and all times are proper.

I found a folder labled "DST OS PATCH" on the unity box with some reg entries in it. so i presume these were run b4 i started here a week ago.

help please

With Unity you are allowed to get the Microsoft patches. Unity runs on the Microsoft version of Win2k. Allow Unity to go to Microsoft and update itself. Just don't load any non-Cisco approved Service Packs. The only DST patch for Unity was a JRE patch that was listed as only for people using CiscoPCA web pages. I ran the TZEDIT utility on my Unity customers who didn't allow Unity to the Internet and had no issues.

Ok Pndscm. You are the man.

I checked the existing tz configurations on my unity server and the call manager and even my xp laptop. using tzedit

the voicemail had the incorrect April and October dates, everything was on par.

Now I would hypothosize i need a reboot of the unity server to kick in the new tz config. a test call still had the incorrect time stamp.

thanks pndscm a star for u

let me clarify

every other server had the correct dates. i made the changes to the unity server and rechecked and the unity server has the correct dates.

I suspect a reboot is in order? is that correct pndscm?

I made all my TZEdit changes before the DST date and didn't have to reboot. Since this is after the changeover, maybe it needs a reboot. I don't really know. It can't hurt though. :) I tell my customers to reboot all CCM and Unity servers once a month anyway.
