Unity 7.0 call handler won't transfer to one DN 1

I have a unity user who's auto attendant calls won't ring his ext. goes straight to greeting. The phone is not cfwd all to vm.
Tie trunk and internal station calls ring first. The mailbox transfer rule is set to transfer to ext and release to switch. I compared his settings with phones that work properly and can't see any difference. Reset the phone,no change. What am I missing?
 
Resolution,
we use translation patterns to direct classroom extensions to VM during class hours. Had to build a trans pattern for the extension and assign it to always ring,
