How can I uninstall madwifi for I can install ndiswrapper?

What distribution are you running? Did you install a package (RPM or deb)? Did you compile from source?

I unistalled madwifi, but I intalled madwifi again.
I've a problem. I need to associate with an access point 802.11b but when I put:
iwpriv ath0 mode 2 it does scanning but it can't associate. Why?
