OK everyone, I have a unique one. Here it goes:
Two buildings, two separate PBX's (opt 81s) and voicemails
Building A carries all trunking for both; including inbound DID traffic.
Building A and B connected via TIE lines.
Building B only has a few copper trunks for E911 calls.
All inbound and outbound traffic for building B goes through building A first.
(I did not do this, btw)
User in Building B has an ACDN set up to NCFW to his cell phone when he forwards his phone to the ACDN.
External calls to his DID will successfully be forwarded to his cell phone.
Internal calls to his DN will not complete to his cell phone.
All programming for this user is identical as others that have similar setups for Off site forwarding
The ONLY difference is that this user's cell number has a PREFIX of 800 (818-800-XXXX)
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Are the internal calls from site A or B or both?

Is the CDB set for CFF or CFO? if set for CFO change to CFF

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Both sites are set to CFF.
From what I understand, the test calls were made from "B".
I will try to get an internal call test from "A".
Thanks Ace

In the ACDN make sure MWC is yes

MWC is set to YES. I did not do the original programming, but I'm helping my co-worker that did. We are assuming that the phone numbers prefix, 800, might be causing the trouble somewhere along the line.

I doubt the 800 is the problem.

I've been told that when the phone is forwarded via the FORWARD key (CFXA and CFW 12), the same results occur.
As i'm writing this, could this be a problem with the actual cell phone not accepting the call? Perhaps a different CLID/ANI is sent to the cell phone depending on the origin of the call (external/internal). I have seen calls rejected in the past due to ANI/CLID issues.
your thoughts?

a12ozbottle,
yes, the phones call call the phone directly.

If this is a 4.5 PBX or higher you might want to look at ARDN prompt in RDB this can change the digits sent from the originally dialed to final forwarding. Probably not the cause but might be worth looking at.

I'll have a look at the RDB.

Still waiting to hear if the trouble occurs from internal calls from A.

ACDN is built in B

another thing to check is try setting the ncos of the tie route high enough to make the call then test the forward again... even with cff if the main switch does not recognize the ncos of the forwarding station it has to look at the ncos of the tie between the two for ncos...

do you get a error when you call the cfxa station?

You could also try using a phantom Tn with DCFW instead of an ACDN.

the bad thing about a phantom is it takes a lic, the good thing is you can set the ncos and cfxa as well as scpw to use rcfw... then you can change the forward via any station instead of just the term
