Unique Number Sequence

I need to restart my ID number each year. I can create a unique number sequence using the ELookup Function, but how do I get it to start over from ID06-033 to ID07-001 in January 2007?

I cannot gurrantee it, but I'd bet the farm I've seen this topic before.

When you get a chance, search the TT forums/FAQs on this topic. If I recall (haha!), there were some terrific answers.

I have seen the ELookup Function used with the fiscal year that starts in October. But how do you restart in January?
