Unique Line Ringing Procedure 209

I am trying to program a unique ring between two lines on my ACS R6.0. If you program line number two with unique #2 will the line ring uniquily on all phones? Is this procedure is used to differentiate the ring tone between two incoming lines.

Correct on both counts.

209 will change the ringing "tune" for a particular line on every phone. It is, indeed, used to audibly differentiate on which line a call is ringing in on.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.
