I have created a table called tblUniqueIDs, which contains all the primary keys for my tables.

ClientID ClientDetailID FinancialsID
1 1 1

I cannot figure out how to pull the current ID and increment it by 1 for the next entry.

I'd create a table with two columns, TableName and NextAvailableCounter. Then I would implement a variation of the code described in the Microsoft programming example at one of the following links.

Life would be easier if I had the source code. -Anonymous
