In the last few days I have been send unsolicited files by strangers. I have no way of knowing what the files are and am not about to open them to find out.
The files are :-

"c:\internet\eudora\attach\CFGWIZ32.EXE"

application/mixed attachment: ap1.xls.bat_

Can anyone tell me if they are dangerous?

Some viruses uses address book of Outlook program to send its code by the net to everyone found on the book. My suggetion is to don't open it and scan the attachment and your computer with an updated virus scanner.
