I have Windows 2000 on my E drive. I have Windows 98
on my physical C drive and my logical d drive. I need
to remove Windows 2000 from my e drive ASAP, because
it is an evaluation edition and expires soon. How do
I uninstall Windows 2000?
Thanks

Hmmm start up in Win2k, copy data files from E: to C:
Start up in Win98, go to Dos, start fdisk and remove the partition...
I guess it will be uninstalled as clean as possible

Good luck

The problem with using Windows 98 is that it does
not see Windows 2000. I guess I will have to use
a DOS boot floppy to do the same thing unless
someone has a better way.

That's why you should start Win2K first, copy all data to your C: drive, then restart, reboot with Win98, go to DOS, and run fdisk to delete the (non-dos) partition created by Win2K...

It should work just fine Peter Van Eeckhoutte

PROBLEM SOLVED
I used the Windows 2000 CD to start, I
went into recovery console and formatted
my hard drive. Tomorrow I can load
another operating system.
Thanks for the help

Problem you solved that w2k server? Right? does it work on w2k Pro? please help, thank you
