I'm trying to figure out how to uninstall Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.60 from multiple Windows client machines running XP Pro and Win 2000 Pro over a network. Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition 7.60 was installed on the some Windows clients over the network, but I can't find how to uninstall over the network. Any suggestions are welcome.

thanks

Gotcha! If you upgrade to a newer Symantec product that installer will attempt to remove older versions remotely. However, SAVCE 9.0 failed miserably at uninstalling NAVCE 7.5 for me, to the point of bluescreening XP SP1. Had to resort to the sneakernet anyway. Bleah.

Get a copy of nonav, and use the Symantec Packager or a different distribution method to deploy and run it over the network. (You will need to create a custom command within Symantec packager)

Other options are to remotely execute msiexec with the product code and uninstall parameters. There should be a doc on that somewhere.

PS. Law, you are a g00b ;-) The NAV 7.5 to 9.0 upgrade was never supported, because 7.5 reached end of life before 9.0 was released (then again... I have seen similar problems with 7.6 anyway)
