OK, here's my situation:
On my HDD, I have the following partitions:

FAT32 WinXP
Boot Partition (Containing Grub)
Ext3 Which had Linux on (Now deleted)
Ext3 Linux Swap (Now deleted)

What I want is:

Fat32 WinXP

But if I'm right, if I delete the boot partition, then I'll not be able to boot to any system? I'm thinking that I need to do something with the MBR to set it to boot to WinXP automatically?

Does anyone know of way of doing this, or a good guide??

Cheers

Doesn't XP have something that would repair a corrupted MBR? That's the issue from Windows' perspective. You could boot your linux distro into repair mode and use fdisk to scrap the other linux partitions, but I wouldn't do that until you fix the MBR via WinXP. You'd potentially be able to use the disk space from the linux partitions again after that.

The old DOS command was fdisk /mbr to repair a master boot record. You should be able to do that with XP, but I haven't tried.

If not, you might want to try Bart's PE Builder I think that it will allow you to build an XP boot CD that may allow you to repair your MBR.

Sorry I don't have more info.
