Hi all,

I've tried deleting the adobefnt*.lst files and anything accompanying it. What I'm trying to figure out is how to uninstall the program or remove it so that the system thinks I've never used Illustrator in the first place. Does anyone know all the files that are required to be deleted for illustrator to be installed and can it be done manually? Please help. Much thanks.

In order of the terror your system will experience:

Use the Add/Remove programs dialogue...it's BEST.

Delete any folder associated with Illustrator:
i.e. check C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\AdobeAnd Program Files of course.

Beyond that... and I don't recommend it for the faint of heart, BACKUP the registry, BACKUP your system, OR else. Then go searching through the registry for 'Illustrator' and '.ai' for instance, but make SURE you understand what you delete first, only take out things that are associated with AI and nothing else, I've only done this when I'm desperate.
