Uninstalling Exchange 5.5

I have had the unfortunate experience of the dreaded 0xc002041c error when installing Exchange 5.5 on Windows 2000 Server SP1. The installation fails for some reason. M$ say to uninstall by running setup from the CD and choosing "uninstall all" but this is not an option that appears on my (official) copy!

I ran across a Knowledgebase article (Q259158) which did not help but may be useful to someone else when uninstalling as it describes registry entries to remove etc...

Anyone know why I can't install Exchange 5.5 on Win2k Server?

I think I have answered my own question...can I send myself a star? The machine was only mildly fragmented but after running defrag anyway i found (after checking to make sure the service user account was in the built-in administrators group) that i could install OK!
