Uninstalling Display Drivers Proliant 3000 P2 300mhz

I need to complately remove the Compaq display drivers from this server and then start again. I downloaded the latest drivers but on installation I am being told that the drivers are already installed even though the drivers in use are the basic VGA drivers from Microsoft. I tried to install over the top but with no success.

Can anyone help? Is there a magic utility out there!
