Uninstalling 2005

Sorry for my lame questions.

I just uninstalled my instance of sql server 2005 and related components such as SSIS, notification services, etc.

However, I still see a bunch of 2005 related stuff installed in add/remove programs. I assume these were installed during the 2005 installation, so why are they still there?

I need to reinstall 2005, so do I need to remove these related programs first? I cannot find any information online, and I really can't afford to screw this up!

Any advice welcome!!
