Uninstalling 14-Day Trial Norton AntiVirus 2003 corrupts TCP/IP set up

Hi !

A friend of mine uninstalled a trial version of NAV 2003 form his XP OS machine and found that he couldn't connect to the net nor his local network.
He noted his TCP/IP service could not be restarted until he reinstalled the now out-of-date trial software !

The only thing I could suggest was to try using the rnav2003 program, since another friend of mine had issues with NAV and that seemed to clear it up.

I was wondering if anyone in the forum had experienced something similar and if/how they fixed it :)
