Greetings-

I had WSS 2.0 on a Windows Server 2003 box. I also am running Project 2003 Server. I had to install SharePoint Portal Server some time ago, for a migration, so I installed the evaluation copy.

Well, it expired last week and was filling up my event log with errors, so I uninstalled it. And now *DOH* I have no SharePoint Portal Server (which is good) OR Windows SharePoint Services (which is VERY bad). And no way to get to my Project Server stuff.

And this being a "non-production" box with production data on it, there is no backup.

Can I reclaim some semblance of what was there before the SNAFU?

Thanx
OregonSteve

Greetings-

Crisis averted. Since all data is contained in the SQLdb, I just uninstalled both WSS (it still showed up in the Add/Remove programs) and Project Server and reinstalled them, pointing the Project Server to the correct db and everything came back OK.

Thanx
