I was working on a home pc and after I installed a game (Monopony full installed)onto my pc it was not running correctly. So I uninstalled it and during the uninstalled the system crashed. And now it will not reboot. Everytime I try to start the PC the sceen says hard drive failed.
This is a Windows 98 and it has three hard drives on the computer. The game was installed on a drive which was free of data.

what may have happened was that the monoply game that you had bought had a virus on it. So when you went to install it on you're computer it put the virus on your hard drive and caused it to crash like yours is doing, because the same thing happened to me, but with another game.

boot off a floppy see if can the c drive if you can move the data you need over and try a reinstall if that does not work a clean install and then can for virus to be on the safe side and also try fdisk/mbr see if you can after that if you can it most likey was a virus. So long and thanks for all the fish.
