Uninstall/Reinstall SQL 2000

If I uninstall/reinstall SQL 2000. Do I have to uninstall/reinstall SQL SP3?

Um...Yeah...

You won't have to uninstall the Service Pack because, since it is part of SQL Server, it will be uninstalled when you uninstall it. You will have to reinstall the Service Pack after you reinstall SQL Server because, well, if was part of the CD setup it wouldn't be a Service Pack. :)

Unless you bought a recent version of SQL Server that included Service Pack 3. I have heard that recently bought copies do include SP3.

Yes, I have just brought a new SQL software and yes it came with SP3.
