Uninstall NIS 2005

How do I uninstall NIS 2005 from our notebook (WinXPsp3 / IE 7)?

Some say to use Add/Remove; others say to use a "Symantec NIS 2005 Removal Tool."

If the "Symantec NIS 2005 Removal Tool" would be preferable, where would I find it?

How do I remove remnants of NIS 2005 that might be left behind? Would using the "Symantec NIS 2005 Removal Tool" remove everything?

Hi Alicez,

Use Add/Remove programs first. Hopefully this should get rid of it completely, if not, or if you have problems then use the removal tool from Symantec.
