Hi,
I upgraded a pc to Office 2003, but when it comes to MS Outlook, it still asks for the location of the old data.msi file, which was located on our old server, I don't have it anymore and I don't have the CD anymore.

How can I uninstall MS Office 2000 Professional without having the CD?
I already tried the registry, I deleted all MS Office folders, it didn't work.
any ideas - except formating the HD.

Thanks

Go to M$ site and download the Windows Install Cleanup (msicucu2.exe) program. It will detect various pieces of software on your system, notably M$ products and you can select those for deletion from your system. It is very thorough and will go through the registry and remove those items that you would otherwise have to take care of manually.

lb63640,

I just happened upon this thread, but that looks to be one very helpful tool. I'll be sure to grab it up myself, in case I need for future reference. Thanks for that mention - have a star!
