Uninstall IE5.5 on Windows ME

I installed IE5.5 and now I can't uninstall it. The option will not highlight. Any suggestions?

I tried to do the same to handle a problem I was having and came to the conclusion that it can't be done without completely reinstalling windows. (ie. format etc.)

No, just reinstall all components of IE5.5 THEN you can uninstall it. Cheers,
