I am using Windows 2000. I originally upgraded from IE 5.5 to 6.0 and installed service pack 1 for IE 6.0. I am having problems with scripts running properly in IE. I was told I needed to either run a fix or reinstall IE. The problem is that IE 6.0 or the IE 6.0 service pack does not show up in the "add-remove" of control panel and I know of no way to run a fix on IE 6.0 or to remove it since it is not in the "add/remove" applet of control panel. I was told that IE 6.0 would not show up in control panel if files on the earlier installation upgrade from IE 5.5 were not asked to be saved and I presume that I failed to do this. I was told that if I removed the service pack 1, that I.E. 6.0 would show up in the "add/remove" list in control panel, but since the service pack is also not listed in the "add/remove" list, that does not appear to be an option.
I would appreciate any suggestions on what I can do to solve this problem.
Thanks,
George
